Recognition
YouSee is a creative zine developed in a two-person team for our Design Research Methods class. Designed for first-year DAAP students, the zine uses bold visuals and clear storytelling to highlight key buildings across the University of Cincinnati’s campus, encouraging exploration beyond the DAAP building.
DAAP students often feel confined to a single space, limiting their connection to the wider campus. This project aims to break that pattern by promoting exploration, building familiarity with new environments, and helping students feel more inspired and at home at UC.

THE PROBLEM
DAAP freshmen on the University of Cincinnati’s campus are only familiar with the spaces available within the DAAP building, making them unaware of the variety of valuable resources and great spaces across other campus buildings, as well.
COMMON SPACE CRITIQUES

CROWDED DAAP CAFE
PROJECT CRITERIA
YouSee is a creative magazine that visually engages freshmen students about the different buildings found on UC’s campus to enhance student exploration of spaces.
