Name Animation

This animation was a personal exploration designed to reflect who I am through motion. I created a simple character to represent myself, using it as a visual stand-in for identity and personality. As the animation progresses, the character breaks apart into abstract shapes, symbolizing the complexities, experiences, and layers that make up who I am.

The sequence then resolves with the character reassembling alongside my name, highlighting the idea of growth, cohesion, and self-understanding through transformation. The design focuses on playful forms and fluid transitions to keep the tone approachable while still communicating depth.

Title Sequence

This title sequence was created for a fictional film about a girl who’s placed on the boys’ basketball team and must navigate the challenges of proving herself in a male-dominated space.

I used symbolic visual elements, like bold color shifts, sketchy illustrations, and textured paper tears, to reflect both the tension and energy of her journey. The mixed-media approach, including hand-drawn elements and layered textures, mirrors the character’s resilience and individuality. Through playful yet intentional design choices, the sequence sets the tone for a story about strength, determination, and breaking expectations.
